Quiz & Assignment for Teachers is a complete classroom toolkit for WordPress. Create quizzes and assignments in minutes, publish them on your own site, and let students complete them online, without paying for an external learning platform. Everything runs on your own WordPress site, so your data stays with you and there are no per-student fees.
Build quizzes with five question types: single-answer multiple choice, multiple-answer multiple choice, true/false, short answer and essay. Everything except essays is graded automatically the moment a student submits. Set a time limit, a passing score and the number of attempts, shuffle questions and answer options, and decide whether students see only their score or the full review with correct answers and explanations.
Assignments are just as flexible. Students can type their answer, upload a file, or do both. Set a due date, accept late work if you wish, and allow more than one submission. Uploaded files are kept in a protected folder, so only you and the student who sent them can download them.
Grading is simple. A single Submissions screen lets you filter by quiz, assignment or status, mark essays and assignments, write personal feedback, and email the result to the student. Need a record? Export all results to CSV in one click.
Your students get a clean, mobile-friendly experience. They can take a quiz on a phone, watch a countdown timer, and check their grades on a personal results page using a simple shortcode.
The plugin also adds a dedicated Teacher role, so colleagues can create content and grade work without full administrator access. Sample quizzes and an assignment are included, so you can see everything working right after activation. It works with your existing WordPress theme.
